5.0 out of 5 stars Creativity vs. Innovation

Reviewed in the United States on June 9, 2025 by Brian C.

I have read many books on innovation, and this is the first one that takes the time to comment on a critical insight, that creativity is not innovation, or more precisely, entrepreneurship. In business, a new idea means nothing unless it can be executed, and it has a market. I feel too many people don’t understand it, and it leads to huge wastes of time and energy.

5.0 out of 5 stars An essential manual for creative problem-solving in the real world.

The strength of this handbook lies in its content—it doesn’t just theorize about innovation; it provides real-world techniques, guided exercises, and case studies that make complex concepts accessible and immediately applicable. From reframing problems to rapid ideation methods and prioritization strategies, the book walks you through the full innovation lifecycle, grounded in constraints rather than ideal conditions.

It’s especially valuable for leaders, startups, and teams in legacy organizations looking to spark creativity without needing big budgets or sweeping changes. The tone is clear, encouraging, and grounded in experience, making it suitable for both solo innovators and collaborative groups.
